Dropped the dogs, Tater, Buck, Jasper and Preacher about 6am made a run up the river into the wind. Bout 10 minutes in, all the dogs lit out....crossed the creek and come bayed. We close to 50 and unsnap...little black sow bout 80lbs
Dogs roll out and come bayed again a couple times but hogs break before the CD's get there once and the CD's missed once.
Dogs roll out again ...back across creek and come bayed....close to 45 and unsnap....ANOTHER break!! They come bayed again within 150 or so and the CD's caught up and sealed it this time. Little spotted Boar bout 80lbs.
Called it a day and went home. Couple hours...couple pigs. Nothing big but good to be out in the woods.
On a side note...Preacher pup was at the bays ( eventually) so that was good, he just didn't go to them right away.... Whatcha gonna do....pups!
