It started off pretty slow, Paul had to meet some guys to show a dog to, so we went to seperate places and neither of us found anything.  Met back up about 1:30 and went to one of my old honey holes, stopped and casted the dogs right at the entrance to this place, waited about two minutes, and the dogs bayed hard about 300 yards in, drove up the road to the mud hole, and had a caught hog, about 150# spotted boar, turned the Dogo and three first hunt pups loose to the bay.  Got to watch those first hunt pups chew him up real good for first hunt puppies.  As soon as the pig was stuck, all three good strike dogs rolled out and bayed a second pig, about 40# shoat, about 1/2 mile on into the property.  Had a good, fun hunt, caught two pigs, & didn't get any dogs cut up, and did it all in about an hour.  My boy and I had a good time Paul, and we need to do it again real soon.    Wes
P.S.-I'll post my pics after while, I'ma go to bed too!

Dexter, windmill overflows are a wonderful thing this time of year.

10-4 man lets go tonight if it cools down enough.  That shiny stuff is called mud, we aint got much of it around here, just around the edges of the dirt tanks that are drying up fast.

Sounds like a good hunt. I love working and seeing young pups turn on like a light switch.  Great pictures too by the way.
