We ran into a big hamp hog down on a creek by my house back on march 5th of this year, he cut my red female kacey up under her cut caller and i didnt think she would ever see the light of day again. After several months im proud to say she has made her full recovery and i think its time she gets back out there and show these young dogs how to pic-em up and put-em down. Thaks for reading! Good hunting boys!

we have a lot of 1/2 hamp and 1/2 wild boar around where i hunt.

we had a guy that bought about 75 head of hamps and was raising them with his cows.

the wild pigs started breeding with the hamps and now we have a lot of mix running around.

a lot of people don't think a hamp with run or fight, but they can get down right mean when they have mixed blood. a regular hamp will always take a bay 90% of the time, but we run into more mixed hogs now. a lot of them only have 1/4 hamp now. talk about some strong pigs..
