My new prospect made it from Texas to Dewey OK. Friday for a visit at ADBA Nationals and will be heading up here to the Northwest tonite. He is out of Reat81 bitch Big Mama and T-dog's Vegas. They are hands down the best catch dogs I ever hunted over and I've seen a few come and go.  I am not gonna try turn any more of my straight bred dogs into catch dogs as they have not been bred to go to the ear like these catch dogs have. I haven't had a brindle dog in over 30 yrs but as Shelby says "here we gooooooooo". He is a yella ring necked brindle off a 85# male and a 60# bitch. Can't wait to get him here. He is gonna be takin the scenic route  cause snow storms have already made Wyoming a mess.

Congrats on the new pup Smiley Sounds like he's should make a good one.

If I weren't broke I'da been at Nationals this weekend too. We're hostin' a point show though in March over here in Loozyanna though so I won't be missin that one. Nothin like a weekend of just talkin dogs with people.

What part of March, I made it to the Georgetown show last year for a day. Axiom Kennels sent me a pic last night from the Jr Handlers where a young girl showed her. He's a looker.

I'll get with you on the exact date, I know they've locked in the location.....

It's funny you mentioned brindle watchdogs. I have almost always had brindle pits that were sure enough good catchdogs. Now it seems it is rare that you see a brindle bulldog. Most of the time around here, all you see is chocolate, Red or spotted. Not that there is anything wrong with those colors, it just seems like brindles are becoming less popular. Good luck with your new pup, sounds like a good one. Do you know if Reat81 has any more & could you pm me his number.

One of the reasons there are less brindles in my opinion is the shows. It is harder to get trophys on a brindle because they are harder to judge. Not sayin it's right but I have seen less of them over the years too. Jody doesn't have any more as only 3 made it from the litter.

Meant catchdog instead of watchdog. Thanks for the reply.

That's what I'm hoping for Jody, I want to get a good handle on him. Tired of getting drug to the bay.
