These are tiny little ants they don't bite but you get them by the millions. They eat regular ant poison like candy.

Don't know where your located but most pest control companies have TOP CHOICE (made by Bayer) available. It's a fire ant treatment but works on ALL ants. It's pricey... Usually around $250-$300 (up to 2000 square feet usually) for a normal sized yard but guaranteed for A YEAR!!

For inside your home.....use a bulb duster and boric acid. Take your wall socket /switch covers off and dust inside them. Dust around your water entry points (where water pipes come out of wall... Under sink)....dust your window seals/crevices....dust your weep holes outside your home if it's a brick home. If it's a mobile... Lay down a barrier of boric acid around your skirt.

Sprays typically don't work well on crazy ants or sugar ants (as a deterrent ) unless you make direct contact. They will avoid them. Sucrose/sugar based Baits from Lowes/Home depot work better.

Talstar xtra for total ant control. Can be broadcast for large areas, spot treatment,
mound treatment, what ever. About 40 bucks a 25 lb. bag.

We had the outside done last week and we are doing the inside this week. They are a pain in the ass and becoming a big problem. I live close to Houston. These crazy ants can kill a fire ant. They do not have mounds they gather up under anything they can. I am ready for them to go away..

Idk but have had old timers tell me if you put out sweet-n-low they will eat it but can't digest it and they die. I ain't never tried but it's cheap enough it may be worth a shot

The best thing I have found for ants is phipronil. It's the same active ingredient that's in frontline. Over and out ant poison use to have it in it. I don't think it contains it anymore due to EPA issues. It would be real expensive but if u could buy some from a vet and put it in a spray bottle and spray around the entry points in the house it will kill them. If u find some old over and out that has it in the active ingredients sprinkle it around the yard and wet it with a garden hose. I have put it in a spray bottle with water and let set and shake it to mix it as good as possible then spray in the house. If they get in it it will kill the colony. If bees get in it it will kill the hive hence the EPA issue.

Fipronil is still used in the Top Choice.... Works great. Just expensive.
