Went hunting Saturday morning an got to my spot about 6:30am an got the dogs ready an a friend name tanner got there about 6:50am so about 7:00am we had kirby, and beautiful first hunt back in the woods then tanners had a bmc, mt curr, an shorty the catch dog .. we walked all the dogs into the wood 30' an all the dogs throw up there nose Then we cut them loose an they took off to 230yards an opened up hard we closed in to 30'ft an seen thou the palmettos to to see a big sounder of big hogs. we sent in shorty she hit hard but the big hog just brushed her off an the bay broke then 50 yards from the bay she caught this red boar 210 lb with only one tusk that was little over a inch .. We legged him an hobbled him an told kirby an tanner bmc to role out both dogs did back flips an went 1.46 mile an set for 40 mins but we only got to 750 yard from them an the bay broke again an they split up an kirby went one way an tanner bmc went another way.. so we tracked down the dogs an called it a hunt! Now Sunday hunt was the same time an same place but tanner brought 3 good pups an shorty again so we head to the woods an cut the dogs loose and they burned to 415 yard an showed treed on the Garmin. kirby an the pups hammer down until we got about 80 yard away an the sounder broke apart an kirby stayed glued to a 160 lb boar hog an the pups hammered down with this tuff black boar for 10mins an we just set back 10 ft from the bay an watched them work but my dog kirby spotted me an locked down on the hogs ear an the others helped catch SO we legged him an tied him! So Other then that we called that a hunt an throw that boar on my back an hiked out ! Sure was a good weekend with a friend an are dogs!
