Had a little free time yesterday evening so we loaded up the crew and headed out to the ranch , jus to hit the deer feeders. We decided to hunt a top section Bird, Spot and even Thor got real piggy ran out bout 370 yards to the side of the mountain. They worked the area but soon quit and came back to us. So we jumped in the truck and roaded the girls to the bottom of the mountain , once again spot and bird ran out to the same side of the hill workin an area, then both dogs bolted toward our bottom feeder. We heard them bark and knew the girls had him bayed. We approached the bay got 50 yards from it and watch the dogs working the pig. It was the first time for me to actually see, they was in an opening. Bout that time we was gettin ready to release CD when my new dog Thor came running in. The pig turned to break, crap we had let the CD go. I was hoping they would shut him down quick, cause he was a big sucker and I didn't want them on him long. Chico and DieselDog caught 20 yards from the break. We got to the pig and chance flipped him while I pulled dogs.
Im really proud of my dogs, they are starting to come together , even my new dog Thor was trying to get in there. We loaded up the pig on the back of the truck and headed up the mountain to the trailer, on his way to the buyer in the morning .
