I have a 1/2 blue lacy, 1/2 redbone. Has a great nose. Has been on 30-40 hogs, mostly with the guy I got him from. He is nose to the ground and silent on the trail. Hasn't been doing as good as a job as our BMC and is too competitive with our blue lacy. He gets along with all of our other dogs, just not our blue lacy. Need to sell him to make room for a BMC we are getting. We are working toward all BMC and pits. He is about 2-3 yrs. old. He is the color of a blue lacy.
