Well I have to leash my dogs up to cuz they won't stop if there is pigs out there just as most people that have average dogs I have caught 3 or more hogs many times and I have missed many in a roll to I guess I need to learn how to hunt I guess I ain't doing it right if I can't get 32 hogs in 3 hunts lol but hey I do have a dog that can read and wright hell he can drive the truck one time he went to town and got grociers for my wife then bayed up 73 hogs at Walmart be fore he ran for congress lol but we do ok
dang I need to borrow your dog I have a place that I have to get over 500 in two weeks you think your dog can handle that? No room for not catching 20-30 a hunt! |

lol lol funny fouls i can't stop laughing!!! lol ok ... Well within 3 months with 1 dry run my total with hogs caught with dogs is 41 by tomorrow it should be up a few then Saturday I have guided hunts morning an after noon an Sunday I'm running my pups so my hog # climbs fast! The dry run was when my dogs got cut up and down from the big hog that's on a hit list!! The #s has a lot to do with hunting spots! I have never hunted in a high fence or pig farm but like mike an others said when You have good dogs and your on a sounder its as many as u want to take!

but its all in good fun hey mud dog I don't keep totals on hogs we catch but I know you can rack them up when dogs are hot and your in the pigs but when you make statements on here about what you can do be ready to be called out or chuckled at but the next time you catch a whole sounder make sure to video and get pics so you can right a instruction manual I would be first to buy it

Well I'm looking for a super dog that can find, stop, flip and tie a hog and after that's done come get the truck and load everything up. With a dog like that I know I can catch hundreds... Anybody have one? What about you judge I know you have some of them dogs

Maybe it's just me....but I hunt with my dogs for fun, for the experience, for the feeling of how proud I am to feed them b*stards when they have one bayed solid....(and the meat on the freezer of course.)
Even on the dry runs, I'm proud of 'em......even when they give it their all and try to shut down a runner and lose him, I'm proud....
Even when I get back in the truck and we're on our way home with no pig in the back, I'm still happy as a clam to have been priveledged enough to have gone out and been able to enjoy the experience with my dogs....just as much as when we have 2 or 3 pigs in the bed.
It's fun to brag sometimes of course, and to be proud of our dogs, but all to often I see folks get on the dry sarcasm kick about how they're catching 87 hogs a month, blah blah blah.....and insinuating that us other folks just must not have good dogs or whatever if we're not pulling the same. That kind of crap puts a bad taste in everyone's mouth, and it does get annoying. I don't think it's just the fisherman that tell tall tales anymore! lmao. I usually just laugh and click right out of a thread that starts to sway that direction, but I'm in a poetic mood this morning so I decided to throw my worthless .02 in here, haha.
