It's been over 2 years since my shop burned down and all my tools with it. I have finally got enough tools scraped together to start building some bits and spurs. I have'nt got enough tools to build any knives yet but hopefully I will soon. I plan on the money I make on bits and spurs paying for more tools for my knives. I've only been back at it 2 weeks and the local cowboys have already ordered more stuff than I can build in a year. Things are looking good. Here's some I've made this week.

Here's an O ring snaffle I started on today. It will have a cowboy kneeling at the cross on it.

Thanks for looking.

Wow very impressive! Makes me want to be a real cowboy so I have an excuse to have spurs! That is truly some beautiful work. My 12 year old son has been very interested in black smithing and has been reading books about it as much as he can. I know of a local guy that does classes so we are gonna get our feet wet with him then look into building our own forge set up. I'll have to show him this beautiful work. Do you have a web site or anything like that with more of your work?

Thanks for all the compliments. It feels good to be building again. My contact info is 936-446-0869, lancewilliams94@yahoo.com .

Hoax, I don't have a website. I've never had any trouble selling my stuff so I've never seen a need for one. I've got a few pics that I had in emails and text messages but most of my photos were lost in the fire. I had a photo album with a bunch of pics and 2 spiral notebooks with years of hand drawn designs and prints . There are a few threads on here with some of my knives on it. If I can figure out how to copy and paste on this I-phone then I will add the link to the threads.

lance, just go to the ethd  page you are wanting to paste, go to the web bar, click on the address, it will highlight the address and open drop down bar with "cut copy paste define", click on the copy and then comeback to this page, and kinda double tap the screen in the typing section and it should offer the same drop down bar, just click "paste"

Depends on what type of buckles. I've made some ranger style buckles and headstall buckles but no trophy style buckles. I'm sure I could do it though. It's the same concept as bits or spurs but with less metal work.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments.
