I've got a young dog that ever since he was four months old the lil dude will fly to a bay and in our neighborhood there is a lot of dogs barkin and he wants to go to them. I was wondering if it would mess him up going to a bay?

No he will learn to differentiate. Some places we hunt  you can hear housedogs barking and my dogs don't even pay attention to them.

Hunted with a guy and when they were on the trail of really big hog the ranch dogs started to bark all the dogs went to the house except my dog. My dog got hit real hard and took a few weeks to recover. Let the dog go see the other dogs so the dog learns booger barking from a bay.

That would be a very wet dog. When they wake me up I turn on the light and grab the water house. Now all I have to do is turn on the light and they all get quiet. Even the pups that don't know why will be quiet. I would spray them all the way into their houses. I would spray any dog I saw just to get the point across. I know some people use a bb gun like a red rider that won't really hurt them. But just my luck I would end up with a one eyed dog. If they like the water hose I get my super soaker and put some nasty smelling stuff in with the water or even hot sauce in it. They know the super soaker.

I also use the super soaker when I get that dumb cow in the road looking at me. It is so funny to see them run from water. But it gets them out of the road without hurting them. Learned that trick when I did not have a prod with me. The guy with thought it was a dumb idea but was laughing so hard at the bull running from me with just a water gun.

I think he'll learn the difference too. Even on our own yard here....we have a few that'll bark more than others at times (*cough* terriers *cough*), but, when there's REALLY something out there, the entire yard will erupt. They can sense the tone I believe.
