Thanks everyone, he was a tough one to lose. But, I've got several young dogs that are coming along pretty good... it just seems like starting over every few years when you lose ones like him. 

Sorry buddy, he was sure a pleasure to hunt behind. Been waiting since I heard it elsewhere, hoping it was a nasty rumor. Hope he went doing what he loved but I understand if you don't want to talk about it. Hope Lucy took. He'll be damn hard to replace. RIP Hunter, keep baying for the almighty.

Cody, his liver finally shut down on him after spending several days at the vet. He got hit with lyme disease and swine brucellosis at the same time.

I'm sorry to hear this mike! It's tough to lose one like that. I enjoyed hunting behind Hunter the little time I did. It's tough losing one the way you did, we know how you feel. RIP Hunter
