when you had there ears clipped did you go all the way off on all of them??

no on most of them i had them cut where they would stand straight up put not to tall. then a couple i had cut round. i like round so the if they dont sell i cut them like that so i could keep'em. They came out good though.

oh ok. a buddy of mine does that later in a litter of pits life lol. he keeps them till there 6 or 7 months old and the ones that catch the best get there ears cut round and those are the ones he keeps.btw really like the pup in the third pic

Yea i had pics of them up before the pups came. When the pups came i took them off. Im gonna try and get some up here again. But til then there should still be some up on my old post.

Well the younger the better less veins less blood less feeling. I have one dog that i cropped at about 7 mths. And in my opinion that was to old.

Mex, You can clip ears up to around 2 yrs old. The longer you wait the more the cartilage starts to harden up and the less chance the ear will stand nice. You can give a 60 lb pit around 1-2 cc's of rompen to sedate them and clip their ears. Most of the time i wait until they are 3 mths old before i think about clipping their ears. JMO
