Crossed my echo bred bluetick male over my brindle mt. Cur and just dropped seven pups. Thought a couple looked cool.

Bluetick is my coon dog that loves to trash On hogs lol. He is around 3-800 just depends on the night, sometimes goes farther. Brindle gyp is close. Almost always under  200 but hog crazy

Well that first one could be the prettiest when it's said and done. Looks like he's set up perfect for being ALL ticked up.
For those who are uneducated about Blueticks (like I was before I got mine), them Blueticks start off with pure white along with their big black spots and the ticking doesn't come for a couple weeks and then gets darker and darker.
Yep...that one could be a looker.

Yea they should Start ticking At 2 weeks. Don't get the Long ears till around 3-4 weeks usually. Keeping 3 of em. Curious to see what the finished product will look like. Momma is 35-40 pounds and my blue dog is about 70- 75 pounds. Calling them the mystery pups

I know a lot of you guys run those yellow dogs and don't care too much for spots. But I'm gonna run this line of catahoulas till I find something better. I was hesitate to breed my bitch because she is almost solid white. But she was getting some age on her and one of my male dogs has proven himself to be worthy of breeding. He is black with brindle points. They sure did through a lot of color! I'm looking forward to getting these started.

Is that nine or ten?? Only half of our dogs are yellow! The other half is brindle! I'll probably feed a cat or two before its all said and done, I'm a fan all breeds that'll bay or catch a pig!

I will when I get home. I like any dog that will catch bacon but there are certain  lines that have better chances of making dogs.  It's up to whoever    Wants to feed em

Millman, i guess im what you would call a yella dog man, but i cheat now and then, got a great brindle dog here now that I bought from some good people off this site. Any how, I'm all about good hunting dogs, I poke fun at the hound and cat guys now and then but its nothing more than pokin fun, truth be known, im a curr guy because when I started really getting serious about hog hunting I managed to find and eventually own what I knew was a great line of solid working dogs, they just happened to be ybmc's........had I not lucked into that line there is no telling what would be in my backyard right now lol.......bottom line is find what works for you and run with it!

best of luck with the pups, you got a pile of lookers!

Double K I didn't mean to jack your thread. I misread things and just went back and read everything. For some reason I thought this was a puppy thread? My bad. Those are some good looking pups you have there. I hope they will turn out for you.
