My old male bones got cut last night it is on his front flank. Now it's about 3 inches long and about 1/4 inch deep and 1/4 inch wide. It is not bleeding. My question is staple him up or let him lick it?

Too late to staple now. Keep it clean and do hydrotherapy twice a day should be fine.

cut heal twice a day...can give antibiotics for a week along with the cut heal...500 mil capsules 1 in the morning and one in the evening but the cut you are describing the cut heal should be enough...

It's not to late to staple it. If you do not staple it, do hydrotherapy daily and spray daily with Granulex.

The med is not new...it was created by a vet in lake Jackson by the name Dr. Sweibel...one of the places it is sold from is Reifels Feed  and Ranch Supply...the med is pink and sells for 20 bucks...supposed to be way better than cut heal...

They make a medicated Vetericyn that you have to get from the vet. I hear that stuff will just down right perform miracles.

That pink stuff is called Pink Lady, it works wonders.  Dab it on twice daily after the hydrotherapy

Mattr turned me on to underwood's horse medicine. Goodness gracious, I put the granulex and vetricyn back on the shelf. That underwoods is the REAL DEAL! My max dog got cut on the same group of hogs the night Josh's bones dog was hit and I just went and checked the dogs for the night and max is already scabbed up looking like he'll hunt in a couple days! Its a bit higher than vetricyn, i think it retails for close to $40 a bottle but its worth every penny.
