On all of my collars I have the word REWARD,, then phone # ecc. I got a call a little while ago and i heard a small little voice saying , SIR, I GOT YOUR DOG. I ran to the back and sure enough one of my best strike dogs was gone.I ask the little voice ,WHERE ARE YOU,,, He said ,,AT MY HOUSE,, I then ask where was his house and he told me the name of the street he lives on, which is over a mile away. i told this child to stand out by the edge of the street with my dog and I will find him. Sure enough,when I turned onto this street I could see a little feller bout 6 years old standing by the road holding my red cur dog on a jump rope. I pulled up and stopped and he said in a little soft voice,,,IS THIS YOUR DOG??? I said yes son thank you very much,, so i took rip and loaded him in my truck. I then turned around and looked for the little feller and he was walking away,I yelled , SON,,, COME BACK HERE FOR A SECOND. I ALLREADY HAD 2--$20.00 BILLS FOLDED UP IN MY SHIRT POCKET.As the young lad approached me , I handed him the folded money . HE took it and said thanks , and this time when left -out it was a wide open run. The last I seen of him he was running in the dooer of a trailor house.The look on that little boys face was price--less.I got rewarded to-day in two ways, One I GOT MY DOG BACK IN ONE PIECE & TWO, I made that little boys day.I feel that the word REWARD ON YOUR COLLARS IS A GOOD THANG !!!

THAT WAS VERY SWEET OF THE LITTLE BOY....GLAD YOU GOT THE DOG BACK.....AND IT DIDN'T GET RUN OVER ON SFA OR 36...

Every tag I have has "REWARD IF RETURNED" with my contact info. I've always like to think that it would help keep the honest people honest if they found my dog.
Scott lets see some OLD pics if you gottem. I have some pics of my grandpa and friends hunting horse back near Spring Creek and San Jacinto River from back in the 50's that I have got to scan so I can post, it is really neat because it is one of the few color pics from that time. For the longest time my grandad had a set of teeth out of a barr hog they cought in the 40's, he can't seem to remember where he put them but I know they are still in his house somewhere. They cut that hog when he was around 200# and marked him and when they cought him the second time he was four years older and bigger then anything they had ever seen he said, teeth curled all the way around. Alright Lavon sorry for the hijacking I am startin an old pics story thread.

Dang! Now I feel like a cheapskate only giving the kids $10. They were happy though. Hope they don't read this next time they get my dog.
