I dont know about the Sleepy Hollow bloodlines but the Sizzling Heat bloodlines are in a lot of the plott hog dog pedigrees. Orville Roberts bred a lot of Sizzling Heat into his dogs.

I also don't know much about the Sleepy Hallow; seen a lot of good dogs with Sizzling Heat in them.  I wonder how many people know that Sizzilin Heat was a coon dog and not a hog dog.  Anyway, lots of good pups from SH.

I have dogs directly off mr Roberts yard, I love them. The only thing is he raised them for cold nose. They have the heart to stop runners, but he did not like to gritty dogs

White Hollow would be Gene White's breeding now deceased. He started with Weems bred dogs & added other blood in here & there. Gene was a bear & hog hunter from Tn.

I don't guess I understand that statement!  The best hound I own is heavy White Hollow bred.  He's getting old but you can bet that in ten years his name will probably be in every pedigree on my yard.

My main plott stud is half gene whites blood the other half alan smiths. Plotts are great dogs, blend a lot of good characteristics but becareful with them they are like many bulldogs, they will finish a fight...rarely start it but they will finish it

I have some white deer kennels stuff an he's been doing good, with the except action of last night. I think he opened on track a little but the woods were covered in hogs and he ended baying right after. So far, when I send the bulldog in and I get there he has a mouth full of pig!

Plotts are bred to be open on track.

I had a closed mouth hound for you, but can't get rid of her know, because you prefer open hounds LOL. Its your Texas buddy, had to mess with a little.
