So how many hogs have you caught this year?? Let's add a twist to this lets also see how many we've caught all together! So what we will do is post your total for the year then add your total wilt a group total...

I didnt keep count but 2013 was my slowest year since ive been hog hunting. A turnaround and numerous problems at the plant i worked at at the first quarter of the year along with a 1yr old baby girl slowed me down big time and my dang hip took care of the last couple months. ......can't complain much though, gotta have a little change in your pocket to go to the woods anyhow.
Ive got a whole different gameplan for 2014. Im gonna go when I want to and hunt how i want to even if it means goin by myself. I dont care much for going to the woods with guys that make it a race to every bay and now with this dang hip i wont be able to hang with em anyhow, i have a feelin i'll be doin alotta bayin and shootin solo this year due to the fact that currently i cant barely get out of my own way much less get out of the way of an angry hog lol.
Slow pokin is gonna be it for me in 2014 lol.

I've only caught 16 so far and no one will hunt with me and my sorry dogs so the group will be 16 as well. I caught 226 in 2009 (last time I kept count) with some of the sorriest dogs I ever had, Lord these dogs must really "STINK"!!!!!
Although I do keep a decent count of game caught with my dogs, it holds VERY little value on the quality of dogs we all have!!! I hope we all don't get the wrong ideal about this little survey!!!!

My huntin slowed down around around June of 2013 but was in the 160s I know busted 200 by end of 2013 but wasn't keeping count. Started 2014 off with a good start of 3 yesterday

I hope this topic takes off. We have a meeting in a few days here in ar discussing hog hunting and transport. These numbers could help for stats.
No number of hogs caught doesn't define the dog. Some places have more hogs than others. Then u got places like hog tied hunts where the hogs hunt the dogs then lay down.

Only 2 for me last year. City started setting traps and aint seeing as many. They'll get trap smart and #'s will pick back up,, i hope
