I just spoke to a person from Wilcannia, Western New South Wales, which is about 10 hours drive west of here....it was 46 deg c there yesterday (114F) in the shade and 57 deg c (134f) in the sun (he has been doing sheep work in the yards).

Two fridays ago it was 43deg c here and it looks like being that again over the next few days....Damm....
