bulldog guys i need your input

This is true that's why its so hard finding what I am looking for I am wanting to find a breeder so I can  see exactly what I am getting and can get the best start I can

Are you looking to breed your own? If you have no dogs now I would get too proven or solid adults. Then you breed them together so you can test the dogs in the litter hard. if you get the first two you got killed you would have to start over so you can save them since they are worth more to you as producers. if your looking to go the super cheap route, do what everyone else does and go to the pounds, those dogs are breeding quality though so you would always be looking for another dog if the get killed.

As far as American bulldogs being too big..  70 lb - 90 lbs is a good range for catching hogs. No wind or heat problems either.

I got a blue bully pit bull razors edge/ghotti blood. Short big and stocky. He's fast hits hard catches  and got the strongest bite I ever seen. Although the way he's built he will gas out fairly quickly if he's got to run a long ways. Usually turn him loose around 80 to 100 yards. Best catch dog I've ever seen. Have had a dogo he was just too dang big and had a red nose pit who was good one too. Caught on the nose every time.

I own a working bulldog. He is only 11 months old but coming along great. He is from Jam Up Bulldogs. My pup is great around kids and adults. No signs of aggression and plays great with other dogs. He has worked on 4 hogs and caught them all on the ear. Hoping to get him out in the woods are deer season closes out.

I have a 4 year old AB from Yellow Hammer Kennels. Many have hunted behind and seen my Dozer catch. He has won in the show ring he is also our family dog. I know I know ! Lol, but I can take him out and he will catch size swine I put him on. He his performance breed. Can't go wrong with a good solid bread AB.

What's the diffrants in an to pits as far as hunting and personality
