A good friend of mine got me in contact with the land owner of a property to hunt on and met up on sunday.
Dont know were to really start we hit the ground runnin just like the dogs. A minute into the hunt the dogs have split bays with caught hogs so between 4 of us we split up equally and get to the pigs. As were tying a big sow the dogs that rolled out passed by us chasing a spoted boar in the direction of the other guys. So we then hear another caught hog we get to it and its a small black boar we tie it up and hear the other guys getting to the spoted one they were just chasing. So they tie that one up and my budy and i hear a solid bay at a distance so we ease on that way with a catch dog and see my buddys chocolate lab and 1yr old cur bayed up under a fallen tree with a big ole boar. We cut the catch dog loose and off he goes trough the top of the tree and got slung back til he was able to catch and hold it. The hole time the pig is tryin to sling him off the chocolate lab kept siting him strait down til we got there and legged it. This boar has been the raunchiest one we've caught. Had some good tusks on him but one was broken off he was also full of battle scars all over his body. Glad none of the dogs got hurt. As soon as we tie the big boy the other guys are at another bay with a caught hog and we get there and its a decent boar hog. Its was crazy to see these dogs work like that back to back to back 6 hogs. We sure were winded. Overall it was a great time we had. Big thanks to the landowner who let us go out there and hunt it.

Old pic but same pack we used

Oh yeah it was a perfect say for some hunting.
The lab is my buddys  main dog. He was the first one to strike as soon as we let him loose and as we were leggin he kept rollin out.

Awesome day, it's also cool to see a lab doin it, the lab at the house is a bird dog through and through & wouldn't touch a hog so it's cool to see!

Sure was nice to see the dogs working hard..ol Gary was on fire that day..When we got back to the ranch he still went & caught another 1 less than 10 minutes. .I can only imagine how it would've been if we woulda took the black lab..
