Make sure you cover that expanded metal with carpet or a rubber mat. I will take a toenail smooth off if and when they hang one in it.

Ditto on covering the expanded metal.
Was there a reason you kept the sides and front low ? Looks well made !

I dont see a reason to hav high sides, especially since its gonna b used to hauling feed n wood on it, so i dont wanna hav to lift any higher than need be. The sides n back are 6.5" tall from the top of the expanded floor.  What ur calling the front is actually the back. Im gonna build a 12"x44" removable gate that will b the front and like swine stalker said, a backrest too, but if i wanted to, i could unpin the top 2 pins and let it pivot backwards or fowards, depending on what i need to load, or i can remove it completely.

As far as toenails hanging up, yep, i plan on putting either plywood or rubber over the expanded steel.

Here is the removable backrest/dog gate.

It will pin in place in 2 places on both sides, to allow the gate to lay foward or backwards by removing the top pin on ea side, or remove the whole gate by taking all 4 pins out, if i wanna carry pax

Thanks yall. Im thinkn of building a new front rack or extending the existing 1 another 6-8" and putting another removable upriser. If anybody needs a front rack, id be willing to sell the front n build a new from scratch.
I do need to get some outdoor carpet like underdog said, so i dont cause a toenail to get hung up n tore off.
