The sports mix works wonders but it's so high! Nearly 30 a bag here. The diamond does good. I think we might go back to the Shawnee we used to feed joy! It was alright we used to buy it in bulk.

I know what you mean, when I started feeding sportsmix it was 24.99 now for 100lbs its 64 bucks out the door......... its gettin high but I guess i look at it like this, I know it works and I know the dogs all look and act good while on it, hell I feed it to every dog in the yard from 6 weeks to 11 + years and don't have any problems so I guess its one of those "if it ain't broke don't fix it" kinda deals.

the co-op in canton was out of caliber so I bought a couple bags of sportmix and their price is 25.50 and it's the 55lb bags  .  not much more than the caliber their price on it is 23.50 . some stores just have way too much mark up on dog food .

Feeding a pup 24/20 protein will stunt a pup or give them rickets. The blue bag reteriver is horrible on our kennel floors. Im thinking about going back to 26/18 shawnee or a feed that we used to buy it by the ton and its joy but you have to have it delivered down here because there is not a dealer around us.
