Lol man i keep seeing all of the hogs being caught and we have been on one heck of a bad dry spell.  I think in the last two months we have caught maybe 3 hogs other than staged hunts and it stinks.  anyone else having the luck we are?

Purebreedcolt,

Dry runs happen to everyone occasionally...Sometimes too occasionally Grin

I don't know what bothers me more. A totally dry run, or getting out run. Huh?  Oh wait...I forgot, this is the internet... Ummm....I have never been out run, and I catch huge hogs everytime I turn out. Grin   What is this "dry spell" you speak of?

sometimes hogs move, after a few dry spells its a good idea to get out in the daytime and look for new places with fresh hog sign. If they are not there your dogs are not gonna find them. I certainly dont mean this sarcasticly, just keep huntin. We went through a dry spell for a couple of weeks back in the spring so we started hunting some new properties and we were back in business.  Good luck

 Grin Grin
i caught hogs in there about 5 years ago and it has not been hunted really since and if it was the dogs were not high caliber and nothing was caught i know.. there have been a few gun hunters in there but no dog hunters ! there are a few Dairys around so gotta keep the cow dogs at home...

but i know where they are at! i will start feeding them some if you guys tell me when you are coming! so we can have an easier time finding them!

all i ask want is that if we catch a nice young one we keep it alive so i can work it at home!
