American bulldogs that Work... BRILLIANT!!

I have been under the weather the past couple of weeks and could not really get around to well.  I was watching the wife throw on her boots and coat then grabbed the feed bucket and she went off to take are of the hounds and bulldogs for me.  No complaining or me asking needed!   Watching her do this made me realize just how lucky I am as a dog man and hog hunter that I have such a cool awesome wife.  She lets me hunt as much as I want and helps when needed. It takes a special kinda woman to be married to guys like us and just want to throw a shout out to the wives who let us do our thing and also help us out when needed.  So fellas give your girls a squeeze and a thank you cause them good ones are hard to find.

My wife is not a dog person. Between my son and I , we've never had to ask her to feed dogs. BUT, she asks every day, did you feed the dogs, when it's cold she asks if we put hay for them. When her and I go on vacation she calls my grown son EVERY night to make sure dogs are fed. I tell her she doesn't have to worry, we feed them every day like
clock work but she does anyway. She may not be a dog person but she has a deep concern for their well being.
If ever we needed her to, I have no doubt she would grab a feed bucket .

My wife is the same way. Never complains when I go hunting. If something happens to them she is the first there to help take care of them. She even takes care of them when I go out of town. Never a complaint. Great wife.

my wife had to go through some treatments long ago and when we were building a plant and she was very ill she fed and took care of my dogs even though I didn't want her to...now she has RA and I am working another project working 70-74 hours a week and she feeds them in the cold or hot...also arranges the garage and has it set up for me to bring the dogs in when it is going to get very cold...if I want to buy a dog or whatever she backs me up...feeds dogs and cleans up poop and washes down...and keeps the house up/clean and volunteers at the school 20-30 hours a week...when I met her I told her I don't have time for a prim and proper woman...If I go to hell and back I want her at my side...she said that is the kind of man she liked...so...but I she do appreciate her...

Gotta love em, she isnt my wife yet but she may as well be lol, my ol lady took care of me, the baby and my dogs for over two months while I was in a wheelchair recoverin from an accident, she never griped a bit. A good woman is hard to find, if you got one hold em close.

I have said and will say again. It takes a special kind of woman to stay with a hog hunter. I can say mine is one of those.

Loaded mine down with a stainless steel bucket full of dry dog food when we were dating.

Watched her make 12 pens full of dogs. Hell she even kicked at a couple wanting to fight.

Knew right then she was gonna get a ring.

Or.........her cousin was.........she fed em once also but complained a lil.........hehe Grin
