Not much on talking about pups, but here is the story. I have an old black catahoula that has bayed me hogs day in and day out for 9 years.  A lot of people have hunted with him and could tell you more. I've tried several females, cats and bmc, AND have nothing out of him.  I found a female cat out of a line I liked. Long story short my old dog can't breed successful  anymore .   so I took my female and on next heat cycle to a guy that has a bmc male out of this world on the ground and dang  good on the hood.  Anyway I have 2 pups out of this cross  and at 7 months show more then my old dog ever has.  They took a track this am a mile and bayed a boar solo. kept it bayed till catchdog got there. Really excited about these two.. Been dreading  losing my old dog to arthritis but these two got me feeling young again. Thanks for listening.

Awesome, congrats. I think i enjoy workin pups more than grown dogs. It really is a pleasure to watch young dogs work things out, and it looks like yours got it figured out!
