A local hunter got his 2 yella dogs stollen along with 2 brand new dc40 collars opening weekend on a public game reserve. That's just low down. What's going thru his head the next day when he's baying a hog with 2 dogs he stole from another man's hard work and money.

Naw it wasn't pearl river wma. North Louisiana.  The bad thing is he raised both them dogs from pups and he ain't got anything left to hunt. They took everything from that man.

Man that sucks. Hopefully the thief will run off the road, flip upside down in a body of water deeper than his vehicle n cant get out.

You need to kill them if you find them and then leave their bodies at the front gate as a warning Wink Hope he gets them back.

This is one of the reasons I prefer a coyote-ish type hunting dog, you may get my collars but you are gonna have to kill the mutt thats got em on cuz you won't get your hands on em. I have 2 at the house that could probly be caught but for the most part mine are a bit sketchy as far as being caught and thats just how I like it...........

Its sad that now days not only do we have to worry about loosing a dog to hogs and alligators but now we have to worry about some POS coming along and stealing them, thats just flat out chicken chit! hope that poor fella finds his pups.

That's only one of reasons I don't hunt In there. I seen so many people before daylight opening day going in there and I just thought no way i would be in there with my dogs. I have buddies that have had people shoot over there dogs while there dogs are baying people sending catch dogs to hogs there dogs have bayed. The guy that had his dogs stole shot a hog my buddies dogs had bayed with buckshot couple years ago. I hope he finds the people that stole them tho. I hate a thief.

Not surprised. That's the reason why we stopped going to the Pearl River WMA. Same thing. We stick to private land only now.

I live next to beouf wma. I wouldn't subject my dogs to that either. I ride down there to look around and people have dogs that don't have any business owning dogs. My buddy said he had 2 dogs bayed on a hog the other day and by the time he got to em it was 12 dogs chewing on the hog. My dogs mean way too much to me.

What do people do with a dog they stole do they actually put it in their kennel with their other dogs and take them hunting and think to their selves their dog just done a good job on that hog. I dont see how they actually have peace at night knowing some dog they stole is in ther kennel and they are taking it hunting tomm or selling it or whatever they do. I have always been skeptical about that if I run up on some dogs in the woods I stop right there and look at nameplates and start calling I don't move until we have made some communication with the owners or someone at the number on the collar. I'm glad to save someone a long trip around to catch their dog and can meet them with it but always wait until I get in touch with them unless I know them real good and am sure it wouldnt be any misunderstandings
