The wheat pasture hunting is at its prime right now. Hogs on wheat nearly all day long. We are calving heifers at the ranch so have been busy but am loading dogs couple of times a week and cruising the wheat patches. The hunting has been great.

Starting a new dog team designed for this type of work and they have really turned the crank.

This years wheat pasture pack is: 1-old finished Stag, 2- one year old Stags, 2-one year old Dogos, and an older Stag x Boxer, Dane.

Waiting in the wings for a little later this spring I have: 1- 9 month old Dogo female, 2- 9 month old Deerhound x Stag/Boxer,Dane, and a 10 month old Stag x Mastiff.

We are catching a lot on the wheat but of course some races are spilling over in to the brush country.

This is my favorite time of year  Grin

Stags are the tight group on the right, they whealed the sounder and ran them right into the Dogos.

Good boar the Stags winded and stopped in the brush

Taylor and Jarred came up for a hunt and brought Deuce the sire to my pups.

Put 'em down and let 'em hunt

Big Jake the Stag pup nearly lost his nose but would not surrender the ear

Had a blast as usual Paul. Deuce was good and legged up for the hooligan after all that wheat field work. Thanks for having us.
