the funny thing is- my bulldog does everything yours does and all I have to do is grab his collar and give him a tap on the head.  Ill be on hog #2 before you gets  jaws uncaught.  Doesnt really sound like the kind of dog I want.

I don't wanna up set anybody else, as for me I do a lot of hunting by myself. I for one want a dog I have to break off with a breaking stick even more so when im on a big hog. I see where your coming from though, I used to have one like that. I caught a hog and a limb that was pulled back tapped him on the head. he thought it was me and let go. after that I put him up. no offense, if it works for you use it. ;-)

willsho- I cant agree with everything you have said on here.  Actually, I don't agree with any of it.  But that is the good thing about these forums.  When you have had enough, you just logout or read something else.

But I do commend you for being a good sport.  You've stuck to your guns and kept calm!

Seriously getting tired of dogo threads. I mean honestly what good do you think would come from breeding a pit to a dogo? And I'm not being sarcastic I want to know what you think.

He may be wanting that from the dogo side into a pit.

The good out if the cross is, what ever suites his hunting style n location. What may work for some may not work for others. Nothin wrong with crossing out to obtain what the breeder wants.

Yea Charles, just putting a little more size and better temperment into the hotblooded pit. Seems to make them a little easier to handle. I like a 80 to 85 pound hog anchor. Breed the Dogo down to about 1/4 or less and still have the pits desirable characteristics. Only problem is not all of them are the same. Some take more to the pit, some take more to the Dogo and some show what I'm looking for. Just like a box of chocolates.

So if you want all that why not just run a smaller dogo? I have a friend who has the best looking female I've ever seen and she only weighs 75.
