Dropped the dogs on a big track last night and they started working the track. Had one brindle plot hound, two yeller dogs and three catahoula pups. They struck the hog in a pine thicket at  . 62 out and the race was on. They stopped him for the last time on the edge of an old clear cut and he backed up against two old blow downs and made a stand. He was putting a whooping on all the dogs and they kept trying to catch him. Finally got to em and decided to stick him instead of hobble him. It was then we figured out this hog had no ears. He must have been caught as a younger hog and they chewed his ears off. Bad night for the dogs... We lost the Hound and one of the yellers. RIP Sadie and Red..... They went out doing their job and loving every minute of it.  Sewed up everything else and called it a night.
I'm not gonna guess this hogs weight. We didn't weigh him. He had some sure nuff ivory hanging out. Yall guess his weight. I'll let these other boys post up pics of the dogs.

Sorry to hear about the dogs, it's never easy losing a good one.

Regardless of what he weighs, that's a dang good hog, but that's what you get when track hunt!

It was weird how the older dogs got cut down and the pups didn't its usually the other way around. The pups got some good work in on this one. Really proud of them

Once Dustin, Logan, and Stephen got the hog stuck and killed we started grabbing dogs and trying to get to the road with them I called Jeremy to come help us and him and his wife dropped there Valentine's day date and came and help try to save them.  It really helps to know you have friends that will come help when you need them.
