What light and or lights do ya'll tote with you while hunting? I always have my trusty ol 3 C cell led mag light on me but its not very practical while wresslin around with ticked off swine  Cheesy

I have somewhat of a headlight buying habit, if I see one that I have not tried before I buy it and if it works better than the last I use it, if not it gets left at the house and eventually disappears .......theres probly a pile of em ratholed somewhere along with all of my dang socks  Cheesy Anyway nowdays I have been using a coast led light that I picked up at lowes a while back, it is extremely lightweight and puts out a good solid beam but I have seen better, over the weekend I hunted with a buddy who had a princeton tec headlight........ That had to be one of the brightest headlights i've seen for under 100$, this thing was like throwing an old KC daylighter on your head when it was turned on, very very nice bright solid beam.

Anyhow I was wondering what are ya'll toting around these days? and if you don't mind throw up a ballpark cost of what they set you back..... im always looking to improve my equipment. thanks.

I use a rechargeable nebo handheld light. It's about $80. Streamlight is always a good brand. I also have a small head light on my head about 35 lumens made by petzl. Both r led lights.

Go buy a Streamlight SupertacX at Academy for 79.99. It is small and throws one hell of a beam.

yeah nite lite has a decent product for not much denero .  I just bought the   Nite Lite   nite sport II and am well pleased with the power and lastability of the battery . it's the smaller 6-volt light with the rheostat head on it and the [ old fashioned bulb type ] not the led type . for some reason I just can't see squat with an led light . the unit was right around a hundred bucks and comes with the soft cap to mount it on or you can carry it like a hand held . all in all a pretty good light .  nite-lite and huntsmart are the same company .

I use a browning blackout 6v can get it off eBay for $60-70. Really bright with 4 settings but what has me sold is it is ANSI certified WATERPROOF and is COMFORTABLE  doesn't feel like you are wearing a hard hat. With plenty of battery life and a good 50-75yd beam on high. I hunt in a lot of rice fields swamps and sloughs were it is subject to mud and water. When I get done hunting and cleaning game I just hose it off it suits me for my type of hunting.

did not give the website for nite lite is why I responded twice. I like the non-LED myself Halfbreed.....especially when spotting some bunnies..they don't run off as quick like they do from the LED's
