I've got a 3rd generation catch dog out of a dog from bill mankin he's seen a few hogs hes a little temperamental but nothing that can't be adjusted he's low to the ground and knows how to catch.I'm breeding him to a dogo bull dog bitch I think she's 3rd generation as well her sir is the real deal I'm really looking forward to raising these pups. Should be what you guys are talking about.

A good bulldog is hard to find right now. Use to they was easy to come across and they would all catch and hold ,the last several we have tried out was leg dogs or bayers. Like Cajun said when they use to have all the catch competitions the only ones was available for high dollar amounts but after that they got to be more easy to come by but now are being bred just for someone to make a quick buck and all the game is being bred out of them I think. I almost lost mine yesterday and got to thinking what I would do if I had to start looking for another I really don't even know where I would start. A good bulldog is hard to come by but it's way more that half ass bulldogs that are undependable good luck

I'm sure you found a good one at the pound but all it takes is one bad one to turn your world upside down.
That can happen even with one raised from a pup or obtained from a friend etc....After all they are animals, and like any animal human or not were all unpredictable at times. You never know when anything or anybody will snap under pressure etc....

A dog that has been bred for the right temperament and is raised right should never have that issue. Just my opinion.

Until a dog raised by us and friends almost killed her. He was never mistreated and was her "baby" until he bit her requiring extensive surgery. Thank god she is still alive and for Texas Childern's plastic surgery unit in Houston. I will NEVER trust a dog again no matter what breed and how well I know their bloodline etc. An I don't need to say where the dog is. But as you said it is your opinion. As this is mine.

I would try to contact "Scott" on here, I believe he had a few ab pups still for sale out of his stock. I have hunted behind a couple different dogs that were either off his yard or bred out of dogs of his yard and they have been some rock solid dogs, no nonsense grab and ear and hold on tight type dogs. I BELIEVE (i may be wrong) but im pretty sure that "underdog" "peachcreek" and "lacyman"s ab's are all related stock to his and i've seen all three of their dogs shut a hog down quick fast and in a hurry, Hell I watched ol peaches drop his ab, I believe it was a dog named "peewee" down into a washout directly next to a big hog and I think that devil was hung before his feet hit the ground........very solid dogs from what i've seen. lacymans tug dog took a thrashin last week and never let go on a good hog. Not sure if you are hunting for a pit or dogo or ab or what but it may be worth your time to talk to those fellas. good luck in your search.

X2 on getting with Scott. Good dude and good dogs. I do have one from him,a sister to Lacymans male. Justin, Peewee and his sis Bruja that caught in the wash out are from my breeding, some similar blood to Scotts on one side.

I talked to Scott for a good bit Saturday. Really nice guy. Problem was he's in San Antonio and I'm in North east Texas. He said if I could find someone going to the TDHA hunt he'd bring a pup. Just haven't found anyone yet.

Mr. Bryant, I knew that in a round about way they were somehow related, I just couldn't remember what came from who other than colbys tug dog. I talked back and forth a bit with Mr. Scott a while back about them and he told me the same but i've slept since then lol. Regardless those bulldogs ya'll got are in my opinion all the CD anyone could ever need, good dogs all the way around. I knew bruja was there but didn't say anything about her cuz I couldn't remember her name lol! hope you been doing good.
