Ive seen a lot of nice boxes. But that is what I think of when I think of a three bay box!!!!! Very nice. I really like the tubing instead of the aluminum sheets. Only thing I cant see is what seperates the bays? It looks like a piece of sq tubing is diagonal. Doesn't seem like this would keep dogs apart.

Yes you are right I haven't decided on the divider material yet. I have seen some expanded aluminum that looks nice but may just go with some sheet. I think plywood would ruin a good thing ha

Charles I'm estimating about $500 in total material: aluminum, stainless hinges and locking latches, rivets, filler rods, and welding gas. The rivets were used to attach the latches, hinges and diamond panels to the doors only the rest was welding using a miller tig machine.

Man, what a nice job you did. Great looking box. I would sheet dividers with plate instead of expanded metal just so you don't have to worry about any squirmishes between dogs. And your right, plywood don't belong on that nice looking box.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
Justincorbell, I can't take all the credit. My brother has most of the skills. I came to him with what I wanted to do and he designed the box using a computer program (he's a mechanical engineer) and then we built it from the plans he made.

I believe your the ol boy that picked up my leopard puppy on main line road in there. If that was you I just wanna say thanks I thought that pup was lost for good that day. My cousin picked her up from ya and described a truck like yours and I remember seeing That truck in there. I appreciate it.

Yeah that is to fine of a looking box to use plywood. You could easily break some aluminum sheet pieces and weld it in. I like the expanded stuff because it allows for air flow, and if your in FL, you know about trying to keep dogs cool. What part of FL?

Hoghunter I'm from Polk county. Mulberry..
Stickin swine, yes that was me. I had a dog in that block and was holler her out when you your pup came to me.. We went up and down that road trying to get close to my dog and the pup follow so I figured I'd see if she had a number.. Glad you got the dog back!

I'm over in lakeland and run 2 CNC laser tables if you post the diminsions for your dividers I can laser out some flat sheet with your choice of hole pattern or square cutouts or just a solid panel.whatever you like since you was kind enough to help me get my dog back I'll do it on the house. Let me know if your interested.
