Okay. So long story short a very good friend of mine has an awesome female dog that has the same dad as my male. Now our dogs mothers are two different dogs from two different lines. Would it be okay for me to breed my male to her female event tho they have the same dad?

There are a lot more questions to be answered in my mind before I made a tight breeding like that. You should know the weaknesses in these dogs and these lines of dogs before you go doubling up on them. If these dogs don't have any weaknesses and are structurally and behaviorally sound with the kind of hunt you want go ahead. But inbreeding should only be done when the dogs are way above average cause if you double up on average what are you gonna get?

I know the pros of each dog. And I also know the cons. I just wanted to know if it was okay to do a breeding like that. I did think it would be considered inbreeding I figured it would be line breeding. Thanks for the answers
