Is Connecticut going to be ground zero?

The recent gun laws that are taking place in Connecticut. This is a trap for all gun owners. How in the hell are they going to charge the AMERICAN people of Conecticut a class D FELONY for having these illegal "weapons".This is unconstitutional and I do not believe The People are going to stand by and let our govt get away with this. We don't know what is going to come of this yet but I have a feeling it is not good. In light of these recent events I showed my support by buying 10 more hi cap mags and 500 extra rounds of 5.56.Texas, do not try this. We will not lay down.
Come and Take It.
GW

So gun owners who actually tried to register their guns and magazines, intentionally late or not, are now on the state’s radar for owning guns that became illegal overnight. Owning an unregistered semi-automatic rifle or high-capacity magazine that was legal prior to Jan. 3 is now a class D felony under the new law.

Come n take it. Ill give mine up, bullets first. Between the north east and california, this country is going to hell fast. The criminals will still have or get them "illegal" weapons n rain havoc upon the honest citizens.
Them law makers ought to be tied to a rail road track n let the train run them over.

The government wants SHEEPLE.  Republican or Democrat, doesn't matter.  SHEEPLE are easily swayed, they are shown shiny lights and distracted with nonsense.  I hate to say it, the 'weaker' we become as a populace the more they will take away. It's not going to stop.

It's sad. Hopefully living in Texas will delay it for a while, but it is coming.

And I know everyone wants to think that the government will have to pry their guns from their cold dead hands, but I can't think of a single case in history where they didn't win that fight.  Good luck, but when they come for your guns they will be leaving with them.

Well sadly after doing some research most of our guns will be taken unknowingly. When we are at work or out of town or done other scenario. The government knows they will spark another civil... Wait no another revolutionary war if they go about taking them head on.

This is just a small excerpt follow the link for more info.

If you think they’ll come at these multiple-gun owners with a swat team, guess again.  Their most likely tactic will be yet another letter (maybe two more) that generate what they’ll call “insufficient responses”.  That means they can’t track a gun after you owned it.  This they’ll use as fodder for a search warrant and/or perjury charges at a later date if they can.  My guess is that the time between April and August will be a bad time for a lot of “former” gun owners. Remember that the BATF is an arm of the Treasury department and they control the IRS. You’ll probably get a notice in the mail that the IRS has some questions about your taxes or wants to audit you.  When you make the appointment to visit the IRS they will pass that information to the BATF.  While you are sweating over your deductions, the BATF and local police will execute a search warrant and search your home looking for guns.  With you safely off site and distracted, essentially forced into “the royal presence” of the IRS they will snag your guns.  Expect them to use slow-scan and ground penetrating radar to search walls, yards, under the patio or deck, the basement, etc.  You might even find your hot tub has been drained and moved.  Yes, they’ll search your car in the IRS parking lot too.

Given the chance any warm blooded constitution loving patriotic American will fight to the death for our rights that are being stripped away, myself included.
We the People need to wake up and realize our constitution and out bill of rights is being stripped away from us more and more everyday.

I don't want a fight but I will not be a Sheople.
Come and take it!

I can only speak on Florida because truthfully that's really all I follow.  I do know however just from what has been passed to me, this has happened in other states as well.

Almost every sheriff in Fl has stated and in the case of my sheriff sent a letter statin we will NOT enforce ANY federal law restricting a persons lawful right to the second amendment.  More specifically high capacity magazines and "assault weapons".  Now that being said, anyone ever see how the federal law enforcement agencies work?  Have any first hand experience with them?  Theres not enough for a door to door search looking for guns.

Also check this website out, before everyone starts talking about the cops and military coming for your guns.

they may get some, but they wont get all, and when the person comes home to find his house has been vandalized, stuff broken and guns along with other personal belongings stolen. whats the first thing they will do? dial 911 for a swine unit to show up and file a theft report. at that point insurance should be the next number dialed. more than likely (depending on the insurance company) the person will get their insurance ck and have already bought new weapons before the pig patrol gets caught up on their back log of 10s or 100s of other "theft" cases. if a seiseour (sp) notice is left, then every1 effected should all pitch in and hire the best constitutional lawyer and go from there.

that gun aint no good once ur dead, so after ur last breath was taken, so what, let them have it.

as long as there is a 10/1 or better ratio of dead, then it was a good fight.
criminals are still gonna get weapons. the gov is disarming the wrong people. oh yea, they don't care.

they'll be handed over peacefully a few at a time. not too many are gonna give up pussy, beer and nascar to go live in the woods and fight another revolution. and what good would it do? how does a man with an AR-15 fight satellites, radar, guided missiles and 25 million dollar bounties?

American freedom began to choke to death when the rednecks and conservatives sat idly by and watched as state troopers and national guardsmen beat and killed hippie war protesters during the Vietnam era. regardless of how you feel or felt about their politics . . that was the exact moment that the gov't realized that they could divide us into small groups and conquer us one at a time.

if ur 1 of the 1s in that precinct that would gladly walk into some1s house and seize their weapons, then yea, swine unit. I have the utmost respect for law enforcement officers having to deal with the crappy jobs and people on a daily basis, the honest 1s at least, but I have NO use for law enforcement officer that will abuse his/her power of the badge for self gain, to bully or any other immoral or illegal act, especially seizure of private weapons. so get off ur high horse, if the shoe fits wear it, if it don't then push it to the side, and NO I wouldn't protect many of these lazy a$$ turds that call themselves soldiers.

again, just like cops, there are good soldiers and there are true, would pi$$ of them to put them out type soldiers, and I have had both under my leadership. those that wanted to excel and go above and beyond, I would mentor more than those who chose to sit on the side line, smoke cigs, go out and get hammered and then come in reeking of booz and get me in trouble bc they showed up drunk on duty. I would throw them under the bus in heart beat and see to it that the full power of the military legal system came crashing down on them.

not too many are gonna give up pu$$y, beer and nascar to go live in the woods and fight another revolution.
if they would rather choose those items over freedom, then they might as well head up a local group to help disarm/confiscate privately owned weapons.

how does a man with an AR-15 fight satellites, radar, guided missiles and 25 million dollar bounties?
the guided missiles are the only things that have to the potential to cause immediate harm/death. the others are just tools used to locate the target, it still may require boots on the ground the to get the job the done, which open up the chances for casualties on both sides. the gov aint gonna use a 1mil missile for ea n every potential threat, it take human interaction, again, potential casualties.

At which point in the filth you were spewing did you ever differentiate between good cops and bad cops.  im fairly certain we were all lumped together, and yes, i find it offensive.  High horse nothing.  I give people who sacrifice having a normal a high degree of respect, obviously we differ there.

And secondly to the original poster.  The state gave them an out.  "Remove from the state".  "Ok i sold all mine a guy in (pick a state)"

"do you know his name?"

"No they don't register firearms there so i assumed the government would take care of it"

Damn that sounds a lot easier than "guided missiles".

But hey im just an ignorant pig working swine patrol.

To me it sounds like you are for more gun control. Why should I have to give my guns to someone else to hold so they will not be confiscated illegally by our govt? What good does a gun do me if it is not loaded and ready to shoot? Much less than if it is miles away.

"whats his name?"

"Dunno didn't ask"

And i was a gun enthusiast, shooter long before i was a law enforcement officer so no i am not for more gun control, with the exception of criminals and persons with mental conditions.  An unarmed person is no good to themselves or the public in general.

YEP!!!!! Guns dont kill people, people kill people. Guns just make it easier. People been kiilin others with sticks and rocks for 1,000s of yrs and still do it in some countries.
The gov knows people are fed up with their crap and disarming the citizens makes a revolt less of a chance. They would rather prevent the people from defending theirselves and their right, rather than the gov policing their corrupt actions.
BOHICA!!!!
