gun reregistration won't spark a sucessful revolution. Only a economic collapse will.I know we like to think it will but it won't. I think an arab spring type situation could happen if there is a economic collapse.CentralTex 254 is correct it will not be like austrailia they will just arrest you at work or when your kids are at school they will be taken into dfs custody. you will be arrested a few raids at a time. over a long period or a few states at a time just like the nazis did the jews. Only severe economic collapse will spur a popular uprising large enough to effect the desired return to a constitutional republic. The chances of that putting us back on track is unlikley because someone will likley be pulling strings to undermine the revolution for their own ends.Just like the muslim brotherhood did in the arab spring. The founders of this country were special men. The were not only brilliant but moral men by inlarge. if you study the influences they had you can see where their ideology came from. I don't see anyone on the the scene today with the right educational background and solid morals to bring that about again. It was not just the founding fathers but a whole generation of americans influenced by Their christian faith,the bible and the laws of the greeks and romans. Plutarch, Blackstone,Algernon Sidney, Samuel von Pufendorf, Jean-Jacques Burlamaqui, and Emmerich de Vattel. Hugo Grotius was a heavy influence on samual von pufendorf who wrote: Of the Law of Nature and Nations and Of the Duty of Man and Citizen. I have personally read neither.I doubt any of you have either. I have read the federalist papers but most don't even bother with that. They wont ask you to read the whole constitution in school anymore and havent for sometime.Those influences i mentioned are just a few of the more prominent ones. i bet most never even heard of them.What you and I ( evn the oldest living americans) know of our true history is almost nothing. That is the problem. we have a revolution and then what? How will we put it back together without this knowledge? Armed insurrection is not the answer! It will not only fail but play right into the globalist hands. They have plans for these kind of situations. If you want to be prepared learn how to pray fervently for your country. If you want to return to our founding then start in the founding faith then read the things the founders read and share what you learn with all who will listen and If you have partaken of the corruption of our culture and nation.... REPENT OF IT! don't let your children watch propaganda movies that are being put out today. find out the truth of our origins and teach your children home school them if you have to.Stop buying into the idea that teachers are heros they are the ones who have done this to us.The public school and television are the way this misinformation was propagated upon us. get a group of like minded friends and use the fire out of school board meetings to find out what is being taught to your children and grand children.go to jail for speaking your mind if need be. If you don't have the discipline to do this then you don't have the discipline to put off tyranny with arms either.We always draw this imaginary line in the sand with gun confiscation and say "if they cross this one we will rise up. Hello! thats the last right of last resort. What makes you think that your man or woman enough to stand up and die when that time comes after you just knuckled under like a sissy and let every other right be taken away when all it took was some civic responsibility. I'm not talking about obama voters im talkin about country folk who know better like you and I.I tell you what will happen a few will shoot it out and the rest when faced with a choice between choosing this hill to die on and loosing house, job, friends, children, life as we now know it; what if tomorrow you woke up and were given the choice to fight it out with federal forces removing your guns without like minded friends to hang with just you no one else in town.on your mowed lawn with the hog dogs out back and the horses in the pasture. wife and kids asleep inside. Just you. Or you could fight it in the courts and continue to live life normally and complain online about it. which choice would you make when your honest with yourself. alot of guns have been confiscated in this country and I have eyes to see the choice most make. It isnt armed insurrection either.The early americans were from a culture where men would duel to the death for a small slur on their integrity. They believed in sacred honor above all else and they were willing to make the choice to die today alone just to avoid losing that. I don't know a single person today whose word is truly their bond in all things.If you called jefferson a dog peddler he would challenge you then and there.If you love your country pray and work on your own moral disciplines and that of your sons so if the time comes at least we or our sons will have the moral strength to remold this nation into a great republic again. moral decay is the enemy not tyrants. Tyrants were here during the founding.thats all.

Man jagd you have some really good points and yes for me to shoot another human being would be the last step I would ever consider. I could not imagine havin to kill someone but I was raised to stand up for my family first and what I believe in second. If I could do something to better the future for my family and stick with my moral values you better bet that I will do it.

Agreed! Florida doesn't register them, anyone asks, I don't own any. You think they are gonna tell the police to take your weapons because you are a tax paying voting citizen? Hell no they won't they'll tell em your a meth head woman abuser... They aren't going to tell the police the truth... Thats the craziest part! The police won't even know who they are raiding!! They'll talk about us like waco...

Limited grandfather provisions apply to those who registered otherwise banned items before January 1, 2014. Others in possession could face felony penalties for violations. President Obama himself was in Connecticut four days after this bill became law, praising it as a model for the nation.

The problem with that was a lot of people did not know about the dead lines until it was too late. They sent theirs in too late and now are on a list of suspects.
