Guys, I was laid off in May after 10 years with Zachry Construction as a backhoe operator and the last years as a foreman. I worked in underground utilities,  electrical duct banks, man holes, vaults, telephone manholes and conduits , etc.

I would be willing to go wherever a job is and just come home when I can.

before that I worked for the gas company in Huntsville as an operator and welder. Outside all my life, hot or cold, it doesn't matter. An inside job wouldnt hurt my feelings either.

If anyone has any leads, just PM please.

Mods, if this is out of line, just delete, I understand

I was there last summer, not fun indeed.  I sure hope you find a job soon.  Funny thing is sometimes the new one you find is alot better then the old one you had...everything works out in the end.
Good Luck,
Matt

Been there, done that. Thanks but no thanks, I worked at Ellis from '85 thru '89. Wont say I'll never go back, I was looking at the pay chart at the unemployment office today, but it would have to be just before I loose everything I have
