Oconee I had a chance to talk with nic the other day about those pups he got from Curtis. He said they all made good dogs but had all been killed.

I haven't had hand on too many hogs. Probably never payed much attention to this in the past but whats up with the tail on that hog? Looks like it came from a Labrador. Do many hogs have tails like this or is it just the picture? Thx
I have no ideal what causes the tails like that but I think it cool. LOL I do notice the tails like that are more prevalent in the Russian influence types of hogs like the one in the picture.

I owned the father to them pups. He was a Star Mt. bred plott that was a good rig dog and rough as a cobb. I can see why they are all dead. LOL He came from California and I actually didn't even run plotts back then but I liked him when I had him.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

Mike...some of the things I like about your plotts...leggy, well built, slightly widers head and ears not too long...more of that cur dog look...and from what I hear plenty of grit...if all goes right I will be talking to you about a possible breeding to one of your males as we talked before... nice looking dogs...

They're all good looking, but I really like the looks of that one in the top pic in the boat on the right.
