Throw white crankbaits and use chartreuse colored lizards on carolinia rig or try spinnerbaits in light colors or red rattle traps

If I could only have 2 baits for bass it would be a red shad worm rigged Texas style and a white spinner bait with gold blades. For catfish you could try night crawlers on the bottom or under a cork. Crawfish works well this time of year. If that creek is crystal clear it will be tough catching bass. Right at dawn and sunset or overcast days will be best.

If there's gar in there then here's a way you can hav some fun..... I do this a lot in the summer. Get you a hook and tie it to your line and get you about 4 inches of nylon string and tie it to the top of your hook. Then get you a dead perch or minnow something bloody and put it on your hook. Wen you see a gar cast rite in front of his nose. Don't move to fast cus they kinda get skiddish. When they bite give them a good 30seconds to a minute to let the string get tangled up in their teeth then reel them in! It's a good time!

Watermelon red fluke or a wacky worm. Can't get much better than that

x2! Caught more fish on a beetle spin then any lure I've ever used. I use a lot of artificial worms too. Get a lot of different colors and see what they like in that area

No bs on the gar catching. Here's a pic. Kinda hard to see the string cus it's black but you can see where the hook is. Kind of a cool colored fish to Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've been catching them on artificial worms white/chartreuse and yellow/chartreuse with green specs in them. Been doing pretty good.
