Me,Sean and Joel turned out this morning at daylight. About 20 minutes into the hunt Blue and Birdie rolled out and disappeared. After a little while I tracked to them and we headed their way. Came out on a pipeline to track again and heard them bay way off. Headed that way and a group of 10 or so hogs crossed about 100 yards in front of the four wheeler. Cheyenne picked up there trail and bayed about a 100 yards up in the woods. Ended up with a little 40# boar. Tied him and heard Blue and Birdie still baying. Cheyenne went to them and we headed that way. Got in there and they had a group of three bayed up. Sent Clifford in and caught a good white and black sow. Blue rolled out and bayed again about a 100 yards further in. Cheyenne went and they caught another shoat around 50#... he was a little barr!
It was a good morning, finally broke our August "dry spell" and ended up tying three in about 15 minutes. The sow we caught has two blue eyes. I've never seen a hog with blue eyes before. She's in the pen now and about to drop a litter... curious to see what they look like.
