Well there's a good chance that a dogo x redbone litter will be dropping soon. Damn dogo tore through my dog pen a couple weeks ago and got my redbone gyp out. When I got home from work they were in the yard running around. Not 100% sure if they locked up or not ( I hope they didn't). But chances are they did.
If they did I'm expecting the pups to be rcd. My female redbone is one gritty sob that will put teeth in one.
The dogo catches and will take a very hot track but is by no means anywhere near his full potential.

That sounds like an interesting mix. I assume the red bone has a good nose and is open, and you already said your dogo has a hot nose and is straight catch. Might turn out some fine ones if she did take.

I know you hope they didn't get together, but I'm with some of the other folks that this may turn out to be a good mix.
Of course that's coming from a guy that likes mid range, super gritty dogs!

I think it'll turn out to be a decent litter. I just don't want or need any puppies right now. Between work & school I don't have the time for them.

What would your plan with them be.
Sell them at a couple months? wks?
Keep a few and cull? Keep the whole litter, or give to hunting friends?
