Those of you that hate buying dozens of bateries(like me) should try the lithium ones if you haven't already. I use them in my handheld now and won't use anything else. The operating life is hand down WAY LONGER THEN ANYTHING ELSE. I also use them in my headlights and flashlights now as well. They are more expensive but it still comes out cheaper buys four lithiums next to buying a 20 pack of duracells.
 Just some friendly info to those tht hunt a lot and spend a lot on batteries.

Rechargeable ones. only down side is they go from full power to dead with no warning unlike alkaline batteries.

Lucky for me, where i work, we use equipment that utilizes aa alkaline batteries, never use these batteries up and they are in single use items, so i have a free supply of slightly used aa batteries!

Go for the highest mA per hour on the battery... Thinks it's around 3300 mA An hour

I used lithium batteries for awhile but got too expensive. So I went to Duracell rechargeable and really like them. I got over 24 hours on mine during the Randy Bumpers tournament
