You think anyone would be interested in Huntin just a big hog contest start on Friday evening and weigh in at like 10 on Sunday morning you won't have to have a full team hell you could just do this with a buddy or by yourself only prob would be people cheating so would have to have a test there but the person with the biggest hog would take the money and buckle home just make it a 100$ a person who wants to enter only rules would be no Huntin in a pen all have to be free ranging an idea I hate dealing with all them dumb rules in the tournaments and Barrs would be welcome

It don't have to be a whole bunch of hoop-la attached to it, but I like the idea.  That's a contest that anyone can win, and there ain't nothing better then devoting a weekend to trying to catch a big toothy.

I'd suggest a side pot for biggest teeth!

Well have few ideas on some places I have a real good pen and shoots already built even got a digital cattle scale works perfect I just think it be good idea cause it gives one person a chance to hunt it and they don't really need a team hell a fellow and his ole lady could get the job done and win it and any hog can win weather it's a sow/boar/BARR hog is a hog hell you do a 100$ entry and winner take all I think it would work cause you have all the time has a regular contest but you only gotta catch one good one

We'd take a whack at it.  Would someone be able to hunt together and enter separately, you know we pay separate, hunt together, and both bring the 1 hog of your choice? Something like that would be Kool, I'd hate to have to drag a good hog outta the woods by myself.

I wouldn't care how many people hunted together just long as you weighed in one hog per entry and only rule would be can't be caught in any kinda pen or previously trapped for the contest

What about a regional type deal. Say certain counties or tri-county areas each get someone with a good scale to record who brought in what in a weekend and award a regional winner that then gets compared to other weigh stations for a state-wide winner? Just a thought to spread it out to more places...
