I got invited out to hunt with Mike , Bryant ( UNDERDOG ) and their freind George.
The dogs hunted their butts off ! Just couldn't come  up with a hog on the ranch and never ended up seeing any sign of them being their recently. The ranch it self was real nice I believe it's been in the owners family sense the 1800s.

^ Here's a big oak we stopped to take a look at ..there's a graveyard under it with the ranch owners family members.

We headed over to another one of Mike's properties and hunted it for just acouple hours. This land is being developed and has been hunted hard .. We saw no recent signs and called it a day.

^ Mike's milly dog smiling haha
Y'all I had a great time today. I really enjoyed that old ranch and the awesome country out there.

Bryant it was real good to be able to hunt with you agian. I wish I would've thought to take a picture of your " preacher " dog .. I really like him and how busy he stayed today. I bet your "Looney" dog is somethin to watch on a hog too !

Thanks agian for everything yall ! I really appreciate it

Takecare

Chris, enjoyed the hunt even though we didn't get on anything. It's always good to visit with George and listen to his stories. That ranch used to be loaded with hogs back in '06 or '07 when Matt and I first started hunting it. The past couple of years have been hit or miss the few times I've been out there. I'm afraid the little Cypress place is about done... we caught 56 out there in November and December. At the rate they're clearing land, it will all be gone soon... it was fun while it lasted!

Enjoyed the day fellas..  Chris, I thought it was cool you like that tree. I took a bunch of pics with my good camera of it a free years back. I really like that place and ole George keeps ya laughing. We came up empty but it weren't from a lack of effort from the dogs. Nice with the garmins to be able to see that the did did look and cover all the places they should have.

A couple shots of the dogs.

Bruja and Millie..."did I hear a bark"

Wow! That looks like it was a real good day ! That hog was probably in a lot of pain with his jaw busted like that .. And y'all were talking about how y'all could smell its mouth from a ways cause of infection.

Here's a link to those covers like I had on my garmin.

Looks like they even got them glow in the dark. I guess in a perfect world if you drop your garmin and the batteries dead you might could find it at night.
