Well we had a good day today, took our 2 litter mate pups, their12 months old, and had one old dog. Well we dump them out and they go to hunting the Old dog acted like he picked up a track and took it out to about .90, well during this the two young dogs picked up a different track went about 700 yards and bayed, so we have about an 800 yard walk in to them, it was nice listening to the bay as we walked, when we get there, their bayed across a big slough under some big open timber, got some good video, anyway caught him cut him and turned  him loose. Well got the dogs back across the slough, turned them loose and the old dog and the gyp puppy rolled over100 yards and bayed, got to them  caught    the hog, 200 pound bar, so decide to make sausage or of him. I am proud of them pups that little boar tried to brake several times but he wouldn't make it 20 or 30 yards and they would shut him down. When I got to the bar hog they had him setting down spinning.

Good deal. Are they loose bay pups or are they gritty?

They are kinda in between, the male pup is the one that bayed the bad hog when he was 9 month old and got cut up so bad, anyway as long as a hog will stand they will back up and bay, but if it goes to moving around they go to getting a little rougher.
