Lost a good dog to that very thing one time. Sent a dog across a field to a feeder with some pigs feeding under it. Dog ran across the field and yiped and ran another 30 yards and fell over dead. As we where walking up to see what happened there was two snakes rapped together in the grass. The dog got bit in the femoral artery and was dead in seconds.

Good lord, I hate snakes. I went to go clean the dog pens a couple days ago and there was a maybe 2 foot black (good snake) and I was a spaz the whole time I cleaned the pens. The dog brushed against me and I jumped lol.

Two males fighting for dominance. Pretty cool to capture.

Yep, they are actually......

They actually grapple for dominance and breeding rights of a very close by female.

If one didn't know any better, it may look as though they were breeding, but they're not.

A lot of people feel that way, but imagine the rodent population if there were no snakes in existence? It would be devastating.
