anyone having any trouble w there alfa fading out and turning it self off .

Yes mine did it 3 times in one hunt called garmin had to update it hasn't done it since

im on my 3rd handheld and this one is doing it also . I had software 3.1 and just now updated it to 3.2 so guess well see howit goes

do you have birdseye on yours ? ive been talking to a bunch of folks and it seems like the ones w/o the birdseye do not have trouble .

I have birds eye on mine and it shuts off about once a day Garmin told me it was cause of the Birdseye also had 4 out of 8 collars go bad

yea I'm getting pretty aggravated w it turning off it prob happens 3 times a day .I never had collars go bad .exp for 1 a hog broke it

Same boat here for the money u would think they would be better but they are pretty helpful at garmin but still pain in the azz

I pulled the card out and did a Web update to 3.2 version I think it is and it seems to be working well so far
