What reasons r u wanting lift a 2 wheel drive? r u wanting to clear bigger tires all around to help with getting in n out bad areas? A leveling kit would probably be a better and cheaper choice if u wanting to clear tires slightly bigger than stock.

A body lift doesn't do anything for ya except allow you to fit larger tires. Usually 33's, sometimes 35's depending on the truck. Other than that it maintains the stock suspension and ride and really doesn't give you any performance gains.
If that is what you are looking to accomplish, then go for it.
But if you are looking for more serious off-road performance, a body lift wont do it. You will need a suspension kit. More $$ though.

My bigger aftermarket tires are rubbing, and, I just wanted some more clearance/height for primarily that reason....plus I just like the look of a higher than stock truck.

When you level a truck it should give you 2'' in the front and make it look like you lifted it and you can get larger tires under it. If your tires are rubbing in the front only I would just level it out and kep the factory ride.

Mrs. Krystale, I have run the performance accessories brand 3" body lift kits on 3 previous trucks with zero issues. As long as they are installed correctly they will last and do exactly what you are looking for. Like others have said the only thing a body lift will do for you is lift the body off the frame allowing for bigger tires, if you are looking for more offroad capability I would suggest a 3" suspension lift but otherwise the body lift will do you just fine. Some people hate em and some people love em I personally like em just fine, we have installed quite a few over the years on my trucks as well as buddies trucks (can't tell you how many we installed on 90's models z71's back when I was in highschool lol). If you have the time and a couple buddies that can follow instructions it can easily be done in a driveway in an afternoon. Good luck with it and hope you get the results you are looking for.

1 thing I failed to mention, I can't say that i've ever seen an out of the box 4" body lift (honestly im not sure than any company even makes one) I would strongly recommend that if you are wanting to go 4" do so with a suspension lift instead of a body lift.....more expensive but well worth it in the long run.

Check ur wheel offset if ur rubbing a lil bit. I know a guy who cleared 37/13.50x20 toyo mts with just a leveling kit on a 2010 3/4tn dodge. A leveling kit is all ull need.

Okay so the body lift is here, gonna have it installed on Tuesday. They said it should take 4-5 hrs tops.
Quick question.....
After they install it, is an alignment needed? They advised me that it will but I wanted to get second opinions.....

I would do the alignment. I did on mine when I gout a body lift because they also adjusted torsion bars.

Only alignment it should need is if the steering wheel is crooked after the lift. Some kits have a steering shaft extension.

if they install everything right you shouldn't need to do an alignment. I put the body life on my 2002 ford in my driveway in a matter of a few hours, with a buddy. All youre doing is picking the body off the frame and setting it on bigger body mounts.

I put a 2.5 inch levelin kit on my 05 dodge 1 ton, I know there's a huge difference in our vehicles but they made my 35's quit Rubin.
