Mine was about 1.5 or 2 when I started taking her hog hunting. She went to the deer stand( in the big red at the back of pasture) at about 10 months lil more. She loved to watch the deer. Now she loves her dogs and knows the reason we go is to get pigs. If u kill a pig the first thing she says is "I want to eat him". She is now 3. I don't think there is any other way a person can raise a child. It's a lil more work like this. I have to have friends that understand when she is done its time to go. I'm thankful my wife loves to hunt and my friends love for my lil girl to go.

I love watchin puppies turn on and figure it out to me nothing is more enjoyable as far as dogs go. But this takes the cake for me

Our little ones first to be part of

A cpl weeks ago playin with our puppies.

A close friend of mine and his son on his first hunt without his momma.

At the end of the day i just really enjoy being out there in the woods and wide open spaces, i'd loose my mind if i were stuck in the city!

I know u right. Love to see how many take kids along. I think in the long run it gives u a bond with them that can't be found any other way.

I like my dogs better then I like most people. I think most hunters have a bond with their dogs that a pet owner would never understand. I'm so thankful to my family for raising me working / hunting with dogs. And teaching me to hunt with respect.
