Since it has cooled off a little the past couple of mornings, we kicked the dogs out at around 5 am. We were at the trucks getting the bulldogs ready and our gear organized. 2 of the curs were hanging around the truck lightening the load prior to getting down to business. The other two took off in opposite directions. I had just put on my camel pack and was going to unclip my bulldog from the tailgate, and Jazz opened up. Best we can figure it was the group of hogs we'd been seeing on the trail cam. We started heading to her and the bay broke. She opened up again, but the bay broke again before the other curs could get to her. We stopped and waited and she came around from behind us moving with a purpose. A couple of minutes later she opened again and this time the two young dogs were close and quickly joined in. We heard one of them take a hit and the bay broke momentarily and then they settled in hammering down. We turned the bulldogs loose into some thick brush and David made it to the catch to harvest this sow (guestimated 150 pounds). Seems as if David's dog Nelson found one of the escapees while we were fighting the brush we heard her open up a ways off and when she came back she'd taken a couple of pokes in her back leg. Anyhow, not bad for a 15 minute hunt...and our young bulldog Blade's first catch.

Scott,
Nice hunt and I always like to see pictures of Jazz and how she's hunting for you.
It'll rain one day.
